Healthy Canadian Networks (HCN) announced today the re-launch of its corporate website, www.healthycanadian.com. The Healthy Canadian website responds to the increasing needs of physicians and their patients for sourcing accurate medical information and resources. The website also helps meet the changing and dynamic needs of today's medical community.

Private Network TV – HCN combines closed circuit television and digital computer technology to deliver educational health content to patients in healthcare waiting areas, across Canada. Its lead program, PatientDirect TV, provides health content in a looped format, repeating every 20 to 30 minutes. Patients sitting in physician waiting areas will be exposed to up-to-date health information, health hints, FAQ’s and news/weather updates on a large screen TV. The website provides background and order information about its private network TV services to both host subscribers and TV sponsors.
Practice Management – Healthcare providers have the opportunity to join HCN’s PracticeMAXX, a buying-group program for health professionals. Practice MAXX is designed to save practitioners money on office costs, while increasing office efficiencies. HCN Consulting provides practice management solutions to individual healthcare professionals as well as healthcare organizations.
Consumer Health – Healthcare consumers gain access to an array of physician-reviewed health content and self-help tools, to assist them in their quest for accurate and trustworthy health information. Features such as health tips, ‘ask the doctor’ and healthy recipes supplement the health information received from their own doctor and prepare them for their subsequent doctor visits. There are also numerous ‘find-it’ functions on the website, linking patients to reliable on-line resources.
