NEWS RELEASE
Healthy Canadian Networks Announces the Launch of
Practice MAXX
Ottawa, May 10, 2004 – Healthy Canadian Networks (HCN) is pleased to announce the launch of its national purchasing program and practice management initiative, Practice MAXX. Practice MAXX offers healthcare professionals the opportunity to realise unmatched savings on a variety of practice-essential goods and services, as well as many personal services from well-known brands. Furthermore, Practice MAXX allows healthcare professionals to access name brands and best deals without the hours of research and/or down time associated with finding reputable suppliers in times of need.
For a small monthly fee, subscribing health professionals will be provided with a members’ card and contact information to all participating suppliers in the Practice MAXX program. In addition, Practice MAXX members will benefit from such value-added services as a personal on-line library, help desk and access to PatientDirect TV, HCN’s waiting room television network, designed to educate and inform patients, as they wait.
“Practice MAXX addresses a longstanding and ever-present need by physicians for the reduction of overhead costs for their practices”, states Dr. Don Wilson, President of HCN. “In partnership with our 20+ suppliers, Practice MAXX reduces the erosion of physicians’ net income, by helping them save time and money in their day to day office purchases. As well, Practice MAXX offers buying power on personal services that physicians and their support staff can use and benefit from.”
Practice MAXX is offered to all Canadian physicians and healthcare professionals with an office-based practice. Interested practitioners should call 866-558-0550 or email HCN/Practice MAXX at info@healthycanadian.com
