Healthy Canadian Networks’ Info TV service provides stakeholders in health care and other related sectors with the means to distribute relevant information to employees and/or client base, in a credible, effective and timely manner. Info TV is a low-cost, closed-circuit private television service, designed to target specific information to a specific market segment.

Info-TV also offers end-users an ‘Editing Tool’ to dynamically create content on their Network for announcements, launching of promotions, or for the dissemination of other important information.

Clients who wish to have Info-TV (private-network) services in specific common areas, will be have a HCN sales consultant review their venues, programming requirements and assist them with choosing the best hardware configuration for their network. The site-specific components are comprised of a mounted or free-standing television monitor/LCD screen and a server-appliance (a PC computer), connected to the Internet. Once given the go-ahead by the client, HCN component installers will locate the components in a strategic but unobtrusive location, as per the agreement with the client. Internet access is achieved using high-speed or dial-up, as required.

Info-TV is managed entirely by HCN staff, with no maintenance, nor upkeep required by clients/subscribers.  Should the system fail, a HCN technician will be dispatched to repair the problem, at no cost, should it relate to a HCN- installed component.
